"But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)
Christ's death on the cross brings the believer into an intimate fellowship with God, giving him/her access to the heart of God in a new and living way. Christ promised to be present with the believer in every way during their life on earth.
Prayer is practicing Christ's presence in your life. It is living in an awareness that His love, care and protection are present to help us in the time of need.
Jesus taught the power of having others praying "for" you and "with" you. Jesus said, "Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” (Matthew 18:18-20)
Let us join you today in prayer, and together meet Christ on your behalf.
